IT vendors have embraced the newest hype, which now dominates the computing landscape. Customers have found the concept of public, private and hybrid clouds fascinating and devoted significant resources to assessing their benefits and challenges. Unfortunately, many have been deterred by what they have found. Even though its potential is largely undisputed, there are many obstacles that complicate an immediate deployment.
